Reflection - 9 Ask, Knock & Search

                 Ask, Knock & Search

We have heard Jesus' one of the  famous  sayings "Ask you shall receive, knock and it will be open to you and search you will find it."

Beautiful words aren't they?
Really soothing, really good to listen to and to be very frank it's practically not easy.

The world we live in looks only the outer phenomenon which literally betrays the senses of human beings. The above statement can only be possible with great demands.

If we need anything that is of dire need we have three golden steps which Jesus taught us having two options as answers for them.

# First Ask them for what you need (three types)
      1. Ask politely
      2. Ask reasonably
      3. Ask strongly

If it is given upon trying at various levels Thank God

If not given again Thank God for you have a better step to proceed with.

# Secondly Knock the doors (three types)
       1. Knock gently
       2. Knock heavy
       3. Knock and break it

If the door is open for you Thank God

If not once again Thank God for you have another beautiful way to proceed with.

# Third most important step after trying with our genuine self is to Search elsewhere

We believe in God's forgiveness and mercy and his outpouring providence. Yet God has endowed humans with freedom.

We do commit mistakes by this same freedom and forgive one another with God's grace and human freedom.

Most of the time we go by our said statements which we never want to revoke on the grounds of God's merciful will.

We think we become God by a temporary phenomenal judgement of the others. But we should know one important thing we will be forgiven by God for the sins that are forgiven by us

The above particular verse conveys enormous hidden messages. We, humans are not perfect in our state. Intrinsically we are sinners with our full consciousness. Hence we are called not to judge anybody rather to be a living instruments of God's mercy.

Thank God for He has given ways to find His mercy and love in a right place.

Let's Pray:
Jesus the dearest of my heart, help me to find You amidst this value-hardened world. Amen.
