Epitome of Silence
After a cozy weekend. we try to manage ourselves better with the weekdays. Being prisoners of this pandemic we become lazy children. Perhaps not physically...
We have almost forgotten the calender, I wonder people whom I meet often ask "what is the date?" especially these days.
Mobile phones have become our full time entertainment. We become extremely digitalised. Though becoming a techsavy seems to be good in this digital world, this curfew cuts out our relationship with our families, friends, relatives and very importantly God.
We would never have imagined the sacred events could be celebrated in screens. We were all in a colossal dilemma to whether support this fast running techy world or not, yet eventually we ended being part of the supporters.
Humanity has become an Android generation. Once we ate red rounded apples, now we swipe metallic flat apples.
We are in love with our gadgets more than humans. Let us think... What could be the possible way to bring back this situation?
Possibly the answer is... Impossible.
Nevertheless dating our own emotions and spending time in silence with no tech gadgets around you... Just think of that moment...
Some might become mad to just leave their cell phone a minute... But this gives us a real smell of self freedom.
Jesus did not experience any such tech products but he taxed himself with his ministries. However he made sure that he spent his silent hours with His father. He enjoy the company of banging silence.
Jesus prepared himself during silence. A prayerful silence teach you the reality.
Psalmist would quote God's word like this : "Be still and know that I am God" ( Ps 46.10)
Let's Pray:
O Lord Jesus, Make me a Channel of your peace. Amen.
Let's listen to this peaceful song of life👇
