Reflection - 36 Forgive Until It's out of Hand

Forgive Until It's out of Hand

We see people never talk to their relatives or friends for years because of a small misunderstanding. Some woukd even forget the incident but still hold onto the zealous attitude.

At times I feel so sad that those whom keep their bitter feelings never really enjoy life in abundance. This long gap eventually makes our heart rigid. We become stone hearted.

Forgiving is a two way process. One cannot simply forgive another who is not in need of that. Sometimes we lose the meaning of forgiveness by thinking that 'though he/she never comes back I forgive them.'

Forgiveness is not simply an object thrown in front of pigs. Forgiveness shows the true self of a person. A person with real love can easily forgive. Scientifically forgiving oneself and another heals many psychological sicknesses.

The first step to guide a person is to forgive his faults and forget his past.

Jesus was a perfect example in making out forgiveness a sumptuous meal. Jesus taught us to forgive through His and death on Cross.

Jesus made enormous attempts to forgive the sins of known and unknown. Nobody in this world is aptly configured to Christ in forgiving.

Let's Pray:
Lord grant me the patience to forgive myself and others until I die. Amen
